Shades of Green Resort at WDW
Military Families!!: If you’ve never stayed at Shades of Green at Walt Disney World, you’ve just GOT to do it! My favorite resort ever! It’s right behind the Polynesian right off the monorail loop, transportation to parks included. The facilities are gorgeous, like a nice mountain lodge vibe. There are 3 restaurants, as well as a quick serve near the buses and a coffee shop right there on site and they are all excellent! I can’t even choose a favorite. The poolside restaurant is called Evergreens and I love ordering delicious food and cocktails and sitting poolside to just watch the kids swim.🌊🏊♀️ My favorite breakfast EVER is downstairs. It’s…

Review of Hickam Harbor Beach
On my recent trip to Hawaii, I discovered a hidden treasure. Hickam Harbor Beach! This beach is a BEAUTIFUL turquoise and PERFECT for beginner watersports because the water is not as choppy and the waves are very small and tame. There is a break in the surf, waaaay back off the beach. It reminded me of “Moana” when they weren’t allowed to go beyond the reef. These prices are fractions of the cost of…

We stayed on the “Joint Base Pearl Harbor.” We were lodged back in an area “attached” to Arizona Hall, referred to as the “1500 Series.” The place where we were lodged wasn’t much to write home about, really. It was nicer than other on base options, it was safe and clean, but we weren’t there to experience the “posh” lodging options available on the island, we were there to support a mission. Rather, MY HUSBAND (DaddySnap), and his fellow Airmen were there to support…

Hawaii!
Aloha SnapBackers! Well, I recently returned from a short but fun filled trip to Hawaii. I went a lot of places and saw a lot of things, and I am ready to start passing all the info along to you all. I’m going to try to make a post every day or two with another amazing Hawaii find. A lot of what I did was with military perks, so if you know any military families that like to vacation, pass this along to them as well. Every military family with a future plan to visit Hawaii will want to see this stuff! It was an amazing time away from the…
